SBA 8(a) Sole Source
Contracting officers can award directly to Ark through the SBA 8(a) Business Development Program, without full and open competition. Scope and budget are settled in direct negotiation, which shortens acquisition timelines. This makes 8(a) sole source a practical choice for time-sensitive work or requirements that are still taking shape.
How to Buy
- Send an offering letter to the SBA Washington Metropolitan Area District Office naming Ark as the intended 8(a) awardee
- Awards above the sole-source threshold are possible with the required justification
- Contact Ark early to shape scope and confirm fit before the offering letter goes out
GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS)
Ark's MAS contract covers the Professional Services and Information Technology categories. It gives federal, state, and local ordering activities pre-negotiated labor rates and terms, and buyers can order under FAR 8.405-3 procedures.
